Effective
Coachly is an iOS sales-training app from Stackably LTD. You practice spoken sales calls with fictional AI buyers, get automated feedback, and track your progress. This policy explains what information the Coachly iOS app collects, why we use it, where it goes, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create or use an account, Supabase Auth processes your email address, account identifier, sign-in method, and authentication data. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email those services make available to us, which may include an Apple private relay address. We also store the display name you choose. If you sign up with email and password, Supabase handles the password securely; Coachly application code does not receive your readable password.
Subscription information
RevenueCat sends us your subscription status, product identifier, trial and expiration dates, store environment, and the Coachly user ID associated with the purchase. This lets us unlock Coachly Pro and restore access. Apple processes the purchase itself. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details.
Training activity and content
We store the information needed to run the training game and show your history: industry and difficulty preferences; levels attempted and completed; call start and end times; text transcripts; AI buyer replies; turn classifications; call outcomes; grades, stars, reports, and coaching tips; and game progress such as XP, coins, hearts, streaks, and attempts. If you create a Custom Training buyer, we also store the objection types, character, and industry text you select.
If you use the optional jobs or strategy-call features, we store job applications and the Coachly performance card attached to them. For strategy-call bookings, we store the selected time, booking status, and Calendly event identifiers. Opening Calendly from Coachly can prefill your email, display name, and Coachly user ID so the booking can be matched to your account.
Voice during practice calls
Coachly needs microphone access for spoken practice. Each recorded reply is sent to Coachly's Supabase Edge Functions and then to Deepgram for speech-to-text. The resulting transcript is used with the call history to generate and grade the AI buyer's response through Anthropic. ElevenLabs receives the AI buyer's reply text and voice choice to synthesize buyer speech.
Coachly does not store your microphone recording in its database or Supabase Storage. The audio bytes are processed for transcription, and only the resulting text transcript is kept with your account. Coachly may temporarily cache synthesized AI buyer audio in private storage for playback; that is generated buyer speech, not a recording of your voice.
Device, notification, and diagnostic information
We may receive standard technical information needed to operate and support the app, including platform, app version, whether the app is running on a physical device, diagnostic type, error message, and a limited stack or structured error detail. These diagnostics are sent to Coachly's own Supabase logging endpoint; the app does not include a third-party crash-tracking SDK such as Sentry.
If you allow push notifications, Expo creates a push token for your device. We store that token with your user ID and platform so Coachly can deliver service or account messages. The app can also schedule a trial reminder locally on your device. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
What we don't collect
- Payment-card or bank-account details. Apple handles iOS billing.
- Your contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, videos, photo library, calendar, or reminders. Coachly does not request those iOS permissions.
- A persistent copy of your microphone recordings. Coachly stores the text transcript, not your recorded voice clip.
- Data for third-party advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information or use it to build third-party advertising profiles.
How we use information
- Run the AI coaching experience: transcribe your reply, continue the simulated call, synthesize the buyer's voice, and show the graded report.
- Save your progress, grade calls, adapt difficulty, and generate Custom Training scenarios from your choices.
- Create and manage your account, authenticate sign-ins, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Confirm subscription entitlement, apply trials or purchases, and restore access across devices.
- Deliver notifications you have enabled, including service messages and local trial reminders.
- Diagnose crashes and failures, monitor reliability, secure the service, and improve how Coachly works.
- Process optional job applications and match optional Calendly bookings to your account.
Third-party services
We use the following services only for the jobs described below. They process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Supabase — authentication, database, private storage, and server functions. Supabase Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — subscription status, purchase receipts, entitlement management, and restore purchases. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Deepgram — transient speech-to-text processing of your recorded practice-call turn. Deepgram Privacy Policy
- ElevenLabs — text-to-speech generation for fictional AI buyer replies. It receives reply text and a selected voice identifier, not your microphone recording. ElevenLabs Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — AI processing for the fictional buyer, live grading, and coaching feedback. It receives relevant call text, scenario instructions, and transcripts. Anthropic Privacy Policy
- Expo — app updates and, when notifications are enabled, push-token creation and push delivery. Expo Privacy Policy
- Apple — App Store distribution, subscription billing, Sign in with Apple when selected, and Apple push delivery. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google — optional Google sign-in when selected. Google Privacy Policy
- Calendly — optional strategy-call scheduling. It can receive your name, email, user ID, and booking details when you open or complete that flow. Calendly Privacy Notice
When you submit an optional job application, the application and the Coachly performance card shown in the flow may be shared with the relevant listing party so they can review it.
Retention and deletion
We generally keep account data, text transcripts, reports, progress, and related records for as long as your account exists so the app can show your history. Diagnostic and operational records may be kept only as long as reasonably needed to investigate reliability, security, or abuse.
You can delete your account inside Coachly from Profile → Settings → Delete account, or request deletion at support@stackably.info. Account deletion removes the Supabase Auth user and cascades through account-linked Coachly records, including profile, wallet, progress, calls, transcripts, reports, applications, and bookings. Coachly also attempts to remove any private synthesized buyer-audio fallback files tied to your calls. Apple and other processors may retain purchase or transaction records under their own legal obligations and policies.
Security
Coachly encrypts data in transit, restricts access to production systems, and uses account-level database access controls. Most game-state writes happen through authenticated server functions rather than directly from the app. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You can edit your display name, industry, and difficulty in Settings, control microphone and notification permissions through iOS, and delete your account in the app.
To request access, correction, deletion, or export, email support@stackably.info. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. If GDPR or similar law applies, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Using global cloud providers may involve processing outside your country; where required, applicable transfer safeguards are used by us or our processors.
Children
Coachly is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe someone under 16 has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Coachly changes. If an update materially changes how we handle personal information, we will provide a reasonable notice in the app or through another appropriate channel before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top always identifies the current version.
